Enhanced Logging
The Enhanced Logging feature is built to maintain a secure and compliant Strato Environment. It enables tracking of user activities across Strato through a structured logging system, which can serve as a useful reference in troubleshooting and diagnostic measures and fulfilling regulatory requirements.
Functionality
The logging system captures a detailed audit trail of actions performed by users, administrators, and automated system processes.
Strato Platform
- Performing the following actions in the User Decision within the Dashboard:
- Act on Behalf
- Generate (Preview)
- Performing actions via a Workflow Approval Link
- Performing actions in the Upgrade Center
- Logging in to Strato as a SuccessFactors user or an External User
Strato Document Management and Storage Deck
Comprehensive tracking is enabled for V1 Storage and the V2 Storage Deck, covering the entire document lifecycle from initial upload to permanent deletion.
Strato V1 Storage
The system records all manual and automated interactions within Storage, including:
- File Operations: Uploading, editing, moving, or reassigning files (individually or in bulk).
- Access & Export: Previewing, downloading, or exporting document data to CSV.
- Organization: Adding, editing, or deleting document properties and categories.
- Deletion & Recovery: Moving files to the bin, restoring files, or performing permanent deletions.
- Automated Lifecycle: System-triggered archiving, expiry, or deletion based on validity dates, file retention policies, or pre-set rules.
Strato V2 Storage Deck
The system records all primary document management activities in Storage Deck, including:
- File Handling: Uploading, editing, or batch-updating multiple files simultaneously.
- Automated Retrieval: System-driven actions where files are automatically retrieved or processed.
- Cleanup & Deletion: Deleting individual files or performing batch deletions across an entire page.
