SAP Cloud Integration

Strato is integrated with SAP Cloud platform for more security when accessing SAP and  SuccessFactors data.

This article will show the installation and configuration steps for Strato's SAP Cloud Platform Integration (Strato SAP-CPI) package. The Strato SAP-CPI has two integration flows that connect Strato to 2 different applications.

The integrations flows are:

  • Strato to Easy Reporter Integration - an integration between Strato (as sender of request) and SAP HCM (as receiver of request) where data is extracted from Easy Reporter.
  • Strato to SuccessFactors Integration - an integration between Strato (as sender of request) and SAP SuccessFactors (as receiver of request).

Prerequisites

You should have your SAP CPI instance where they will install, deploy, and run Strato's CPI Integration Package.

Integration Flows

The Strato SAP-CPI package contains two distinct integration flows that connect Strato to different applications:

  • Strato to Easy Reporter Integration: Connects Strato (sender) to SAP HCM (receiver) to extract data from Easy Reporter.
  • Strato to SuccessFactors Integration: Connects Strato (sender) to SAP SuccessFactors (receiver).

Requirements

You should have your SAP CPI instance where they will install, deploy, and run Strato's CPI Integration Package.


Instructions

Installation Procedures

The integration package Strato SAP-CPI will be sent to the customer as a zipped file. This file must be downloaded to the local drive of an Admin user responsible for maintaining the CPI tenant (see the zip file attached on this article).

Follow the steps to install the integration package:

  1. Log in to SAP Cloud Platform Integration.
  2. Navigate to the Design section
  3. Click the Import link from the upper right corner of the page.


  4. Browse for and select the downloaded Integration Package from your local drive.


  5. The Integration Package will be imported and will appear on the list with the other integration packages.


  6. Click the imported Integration Package. Verify that the two Integration Flows (Easy Reporter and SuccessFactors) are listed inside.


Configuring SAP Cloud Platform Integration and Strato Administration Tool

Setting up the Easy Reporter Strato Integration is essential so that your Strato can connect to SAP On-Premise and get data from Easy Reporter. 

There are prerequisites for both SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) and Strato Administration Tool that you need to complete to help you achieve a successful connectivity to SAP CPI and eventually, to SAP On-Premise system. Coordinate with your SAP Technical Team for the information needed for the configuration.
