Document Generation - Employees Generating Documents (ESS Generator Card)

In this sample scenario, an organization has employees in the Philippines and Chile with their HR Admins based in Malaysia. 

Philippines

The Philippine government requires actual physical signatures on all documents.This means that employees in the Philippines must request documents that will be signed by their manager or the HR Admin.

In the sample Dashboard Widget below, the employee Aaron Chan from the Philippines will generate a Certificate of Employment. 

  1. Aaron Chan accesses the Dashboard Widget from his SuccessFactors homepage.



  2. Upon launching the Dashboard Widget, he will click on the Certificate of Employment.



  3. Once clicked, a message will be displayed indicating that the Certificate of Employment has been sent as a request.



  4. This request will be sent to the managers for them to generate the Certificate of Employment. 


Chile

The Chilean government allows the use of digital signatures in signing employee documents. Therefore, employees can easily generate their own documents with the HR Admin’s signature added on the document. 

In the sample below, Alex Chua from Chile will generate his own Certificate of Employment.

  1. Alex Chua accesses the Dashboard Widget from his SuccessFactors homepage.



  2. Upon launching the Dashboard Widget, he will click on the Certificate of Employment.



  3. Once generated, he can perform several actions such as Preview, Download as PDF, Email, and Print. Alternatively, he can click on the Previously Generated button to see his document along with other recently generated documents.



  4. The Certificate of Employment button will be displayed along with the actions Preview, Download as PDF, and Print.
