Configuring the Dashboard Widget - Overview


This article will guide you on how to create a sample dashboard widget based on the sample use case from the following articles:

  1. Dashboard Widget - Use Cases Overview
  2. Document Generation - Employees Generating Documents
  3. Document Generation - Managers Generating Documents
  4. Document Generation - HR Admins Generating Documents

Prerequisites:

  1. Groups in the User Management in Strato should be properly configured. In the sample below, you can see that there are groups for:

    PH Employees
    Chile Employees
    Managers
    HR Admin



  2. Employees must be assigned to these groups.


Once these two prerequisites have been accomplished, you can now create a Dashboard Widget. 

  1. Go to Widget Settings.



  2. From the actions button, click Add Widget.



  3. Fill in the options based on the sample below.



  4. Navigate to the Dashboard tab. The newly created Dashboard Widget should be displayed.
