Retrieval of Pending Data for Higher Duties / Temporary Assignment

This feature improves the handling and retrieval of pending data from Higher Duty and Temporary Assignments in SuccessFactors.

Functionality

A Temporary Assignment is when an employee works temporarily in a different role, within the boundaries of their existing contract, for at least one day. If the temporary role is at a higher level than the employee’s current position, it is called a Higher Duty.

Because data from Higher Duties and Temporary Assignments are different from the standard data from Job and Compensation Information Change, Strato previously failed to capture and retrieve the details from these arrangements. This feature now ensures that all relevant information from Higher Duties and Temporary Assignments are retrieved and can be used in Strato.

For example, Simon Peter is temporarily promoted from Engineer I to Engineer II. This SuccessFactors Workflow is still pending approval, but an offer letter can be generated already using the information in here.

A Strato Workflow can be configured that triggers when this change occurs, sending an offer letter to Simon. This feature can successfully take the Higher Duty/Temporary Assignment information from the pending Workflow and use it in the letter.
