New Design - Strato Homepage

The Strato Homepage has been rebuilt into a more modern and personalized hub for users with an intuitive interface. It is designed to streamline navigation by providing quick access to essential features and optimisations.

This feature is currently in Beta. Features are mostly complete, but may still be subject to change.

Users can install this feature in the Upgrade Centre.

Access

To access the new Strato Homepage, navigate to the old Strato Homepage, select the User Profile Settings in the upper right corner, then choose Switch to Strato 2.0.

After this, a popup window will appear asking for confirmation. Click on Continue to proceed.

Features

Once activated via the Upgrade Centre, the new Strato Homepage will be available.

  1. Logo: The logo remains constant in the upper left corner and enables navigation back to the homepage, regardless of the current location on the system.
  2. Early-Access Feature Notification: A system banner that appears only for users with configuration permissions, serving as a reminder to review or manage early-access features in the Upgrade Centre.
  3. App Menu Bar: Displays applications based on the authorisations of the logged-in user. Applications will be hidden if access is restricted or if the application is uninstalled in the Upgrade Centre.
  4. User Profile Settings: Allows the user to switch back to Strato 1.0 and view the current version.

  5. Task Hub: A centralized "To Do Message Center" tile that displays a live count of pending tasks (such as workflow approvals, document sign-offs, or file requests). It allows Administrators, Managers, and HR personnel to quickly track workloads and jump into a dedicated task-execution interface.
  6. News and Announcements Section: Displays hyperlinked articles which are updated automatically. This includes Strato's latest release calendar, release notes, and release video.
  7. Cards Section: Displays applications based on the authorisations of the logged-in user. This is functionally similar to the App Menu Bar.

Only the new Upgrade Centre features are active on the new Strato Homepage, with additional buttons and features to be updated in future enhancements.
