Dynamic Mapping of User Group Recipient in User Decision Step
The Recipient in a User Decision Step in Strato Workflows can be set to either a User Group or an existing Strato user's email address. However, only the Email field allows for values to be defined through a Static Value, Container or Step Export Parameter, or a Datasource Field.
The User Group option now has the same functionality as well.
Requirements
Basic knowledge of the User Decision Step in Workflows is required.
Functionality
The Mapping Control dropdown appears on the left side of the User Group field.

Three mapping options are available:
- Static Value: Allows you to pick from a list of User Groups. This is the default option.
- Container or Step Export Parameter: Allows you to get the value from existing Containers or Export Parameters from other Steps.
- Datasource Field: Allows you to get the value from a Field in the current Catalog used by the Workflow and the Customer Catalog.
When selecting Container or Step Export Parameter or Datasource Field as your mapping control, the value should be the record ID of the User Group.
