What browsers are compatible with Strato?

Strato will work for the following browsers and their versions:

  Google Chrome: All versions

  Mozilla Firefox: All versions

  Microsoft Edge: All versions

  Safari: All versions 

  Internet Explorer: version 11 and above only

If you are already using Internet Explorer 11 and still experience issues, it is recommended to switch to Google Chrome.

We recommend using Google Chrome to experience the best performance when using Strato.


Check Your Internet Explorer Version

Follow the steps below to know which version of Internet Explorer you are using.

  1. Click Options > About Internet Explorer.


  2. The information about Internet Explorer will be displayed in a small window.

Certain privacy settings in Safari's Private Browsing mode prevent Strato from loading correctly.

To properly view Strato while in Safari’s Private Browsing mode, you may try one of the following options:

  • Reduce Protection: While loading Strato, tap Reduce Protection (iOS) or Reload with Reduced Protections (macOS) at the top of the Safari window, then refresh the page.
  • Turn off Advanced Tracking and Fingerprinting Protection for Safari:

  • For iOS:

    1. Open the Settings app on your iOS device.
    2. Tap Apps, then tap Safari.
    3. Tap Advanced, then tap Advanced Tracking and Fingerprinting Protection.
    4. Set it to Off.
    5. Reload the Strato page.


    Note that the instructions above are based on the latest version, iOS 18. The steps may differ based on the user’s iOS version.

    For macOS:

    1. Open Safari on your macOS device.
    2. In the menu bar, click Safari, then click Settings.
    3. In the Settings window, click Privacy.
    4. Click Advanced Settings.
    5. Uncheck Use advanced tracking and fingerprinting protection.
    6. Reload the Strato page.

  • Note that the instructions above are based on the latest version, iOS 18. The steps may differ based on the user’s iOS version.

We recommend using Safari in regular (non-private) browsing mode on iOS 17+ and macOS to avoid this issue.
