Update Data Source Value
The Update Data Source Value Step allows you to update the status of an employee or a candidate in SuccessFactors directly.
Step Properties
Name | The name of the Step as it appears in the Workflow Editor. By default, this is set as Update Data Source Value. |
Description | A short description of the Step. By default, this is set as "Step that updated the status of a data source object." |
Change Value | Allows you to update the value to replace the previous one in the Catalog.

Datasource | Allows you to select the datasource where the update will be applied. Currently, the only option available is SuccessFactors. |
Catalog | Allows you to select the Catalog where the update will be applied. Currently, the only option available is Recruitment - Job Application. |
Input Parameters
Catalog Key | The key ID used when running this Step. |
Output Parameters
Parameter Name | The name of the Output Parameter. |
Parameter Description | A short description of the Output Parameter. This is what appears when selecting values from a Container or Step Export Parameter. |
Mandatory | If enabled, the Output Parameter will be set as required. |
Error Handling
The Error Handling tab allows you to define the actions to be executed when an error occurs in this Step.
Step Delay
The Step Delay tab allows you to set a specific time for the Step to execute.
