Enable Data Source Workflow for Field Groups

Before you can create documents that have Fields with pending data from SuccessFactors Workflows, the Field Group must be configured first.

The Data Source Workflow Field Group contains the same fields of your target Field Group, but will display data from pending SuccessFactors Workflows instead.

This article explains how to enable Data Source Workflows in your Field Groups.

Data Source Workflows are only available for Field Groups under the User and Employee Catalogs.


Requirements

Basic knowledge of Field Settings / Manager is required.


Instructions

  1. In the Field Settings, locate your target Field Group that you want to link to SuccessFactors Workflows.


  5. Under the Details section in the bottom panel, enable Link to Data Source Workflow.


  8. Click Save.


  12. After saving, a Data Source Workflow Field Group should appear in your target Field Group.
