Field Settings / Manager
After establishing a link with your SuccessFactors instance, Strato gathers all data from SuccessFactors and sets them up into Fields that can be used for your Document Generation templates.
You can manage all of these Fields in the Field Settings / Manager.
Access
If your account has the Has access to the fields settings authorization granted through User Management, you can access the Field Manager through the following methods:
Tools Menu
You can access Field Settings via the Tools Menu in the Homepage.

Side Panel
You can access Field Settings via the Strato side panel, and click Field Settings under the Tools menu.

Functionality
Fields and Field Groups
When you open the Field Settings / Manager page, you will see the Catalogs, Fields, and Field Groups in Strato. By default, the Fields and Field Groups are shown in list view, but you can change it to a tree view by clicking Switch to tree view in the Actions section.


Create Fields
The Create A New Field window allows you to fill out the details for the new Field, such as the name, Field Type and Field Data Type.

Link Catalogs
The Add a link to a Catalog window allows you to link two Catalogs together.

Create Merged Field Groups
The Create merged field groups window allows you to create a Field Group that contains Fields from two separate Field Groups.

Import External Data
The Import external data window allows you to import CSV files or Google Sheets spreadsheets to Strato.
