Storage Card - Overview

Further updates and development of Strato Widgets is discontinued.

Employees can use the Storage Card to access documents and files stored by administrators and managers (via Storage Management / File Management). Uploading Files in Storage Card can also be done, provided that the proper folder configurations are set in File Management.

Accessing Files in Storage Card - SuccessFactors Users

The folder structure in an employee’s Storage card inherits the same folder structure defined by their storage or file administrators from File Management and Storage Management in Strato. However, only the folders and files applicable for the employee will be displayed and accessible in the employee’s Storage Card.

The number displayed next to each folder indicates the number of files or documents contained within the folder, which is also known as the ‘Item Count’. Users can also find this information from the pop-up window once the ‘Folder info’ button is clicked.

Viewing Files in Storage Card - External Users

External users can access the Storage Card in the dashboard, where they can only view the authorized folders and/or preview files granted by the Storage Administrator.

Administrators obtain the dashboard link via the ‘Copy value to clipboard’ icon from the dashboard settings. External users can then use this link to be directed to the Storage Card and preview authorized files.

For consultants acting as external users: Once the dashboard link is acquired, the 'Can change proxy user' authorization must first be enabled to preview files if the SuccessFactors oData Settings toggle in the admin tool is enabled (Refer to User Roles for more information on assigning authorizations to a user). If the said toggle is disabled, the files can be previewed without the 'Can change proxy user' authorization (Refer to Configuring your SSO and SuccessFactors oData Settings for more information).
