Optional Default Category

This enhancement makes the Default Category for Storage Folders optional.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of Folders and Categories in Storage are required.

Functionality

When adding or editing a Folder, selecting Allowed Categories no longer updates the Default Category automatically. Folders can now be created without requiring a Default Category.

In Store Document Steps within Workflows, if the selected Folder has no Default Category set, the Storage Categories and Metadata (File Properties) fields will be cleared.
