Navigate Groups

This article explains how to navigate the Groups page.


Requirements

Make sure that New Feature - Authorization Framework is installed in the Upgrade Center


Features

Group List

When you open the Groups page, you will see the list of Groups and their details, including the Name, Description, and attached Policies.


Actions

The Add Group button allows you to create a new Group.
The Refresh button refreshes the Group List.

The Show/Hide columns button allows you to toggle additional details on and off.

Note that the Name and Policy columns are enabled by default and cannot be toggled off.

The Sort button allows you to sort by the selected column in ascending or descending order.
The Rows per page dropdown allows you to choose either to show 10 or 25 Groups per page.
The Record count shows you the number of Groups currently being viewed out of the total number of Groups.
The Navigation controls allow you to jump between pages. You can go to the first page, previous page, next page, or the last page, respectively.
The Move Column handle allows you to drag and drop columns to easily reorder them.


Three additional actions are available from the More button: Edit, Clone, and Delete selected Group.

These actions are also available when you select Groups using the checkboxes. However, only Delete is available when more than one Group is selected.

Edit

Opens the Edit Group page where you can modify the details of the selected Group.

Clone

Opens the Clone Group page where you can create a copy of the selected Group. From here, you can edit the details of the cloned Group before you create it.

Delete
Permanently removes the selected Group from Strato.

Column Actions

The Column Actions button appears on the right side when hovering over a column.

When clicked, the button shows you a list of actions you can do to the selected column.
