Updates and Corrections Delivered
Strato Platform
Group Dependencies Not Included in Package When Selecting All Folders
[Component: Package Manager]
Encountered an issue in Package Manager where User Group dependencies were missing from created packages. This issue occurred when folders were selected using Select All in the Storage module. This was caused by two problems:
- The Select All option had a different behavior when building User Groups that caused them to not be built properly, resulting in no User Groups to be mapped to the folders.
- Only the first 20 User Groups were checked when establishing the dependencies, ignoring some valid groups beyond that limit.
Both issues have been resolved. Strato now builds the User Groups to be attached as dependencies, and all available User Groups are now checked.
Strato Document Management
Inconsistent User List Across Users With the Same SuccessFactors Group
[Component: Storage Management]
An issue was identified where users in the same SuccessFactors group were seeing different sets of employees in Strato. This was caused by the employee data not being consistently ordered during retrieval. The system now sorts employees by their unique user ID when fetching from SuccessFactors. This ensures a stable and consistent list for all users, improving accuracy and reliability in employee access and visibility.
Strato Document Generation
Email Not Sent in Workflows Due to Hidden Characters in Recipient Field Names
[Component: Email Template and Workflow Template]
An issue was identified where some Workflows with email templates failed to send an email, even though the recipient's email address was correctly filled in. This issue was caused by hidden characters included in the custom field names for email recipients. The system now automatically removes unnecessary hidden characters when saving field names and email templates. This improves the reliability of Workflows with email templates and ensures emails are sent as expected.
