Enhancements

Strato Document Management

Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for Newly Uploaded Files in Strato 2.0

Previously, newly uploaded files were not showing OCR highlights in Strato 2.0, even when OCR was enabled. This functionality has now been restored so that OCR is applied correctly when new files are uploaded in Strato 2.0. This improvement applies to the All Files page, the Files tab in the User Information page, and the Profile page.

Within a few minutes after uploading a file, a user can search for keywords within the document, and the results will include content-based highlights.

Strato Platform

Error When Importing Package for Workflows with Evaluate External Data Step
[Component: Package Manager]

An error occurred when importing a package containing multiple Workflows under certain conditions. Specifically, if the package included a sub-Workflow with an Evaluate External Data step that maps an external data source to a SuccessFactors Picklist, the import process would return an error.

This occurred because the required dependencies for the Evaluate External Data step were not being included in the package. This has been resolved by ensuring all necessary dependencies, including external field groups and fields, are now properly included when packaging Workflows with external data mappings.

Strato Workflow not Created After SuccessFactors Trigger Due to Expired Token
[Component: Workflow Admin]

Strato Workflows triggered by SuccessFactors events were not appearing in Workflow Admin in some cases. This happened because the system did not attempt to retrieve the SF workflows due to it having an expired authorization token and not requesting a new one. The system has been updated to verify if a token is still valid before using it, and to request a new token if needed. This ensures Strato Workflows are created and visible as expected after SF triggers.

Rule Not Evaluated After Uploading a File
[Component: Storage Management]

Previously, Rules were evaluated before the date-type Properties were applied to the uploaded files. This caused Rules to fail from executing since there were no Properties to be used to apply the Validity Dates. This has been fixed by coding additional logic to ensure that the file’s date-type Properties are created first, and the Rules are evaluated after.

CC and BCC Recipients Not Included in User Decision Step Email
[Component: Email Template]

An issue was identified where emails sent from a User Decision step in a Workflow would not include recipients listed in the CC or BCC fields of the attached Email Template. This occurred when a User Group was set as the recipient under Notification Settings of the User Decision step, which unintentionally caused the system to ignore CC and BCC recipients.

This has been fixed by updating how recipients are processed. The system now ensures that CC and BCC recipients from the Email Template are preserved and properly included in the outgoing email.

Bold Text Incorrectly Rendered in Chrome for Windows
[Component: Document Template]

A recent update in Chrome for Windows caused Document Templates to render some bold text to appear even bolder than usual. This has been fixed by making the bold text formatting act similarly to how it behaved before the update, and handling the content better to keep every bold text consistent.

Formatting Issues When Pasting Content from PDF or Other Documents into Strato Templates
[Component: Document Template]

Copying content from PDFs, Word documents, HTML pages, or other editors into the Strato editor now results in improved paste behavior, ensuring cleaner formatting and a better editing experience. The system now filters out unnecessary tags and unsupported styles, helping prevent issues like misalignment or inconsistent spacing. This ensures a more consistent and reliable formatting experience when editing templates.

Errors When Editing or Accessing Documents Due to Missing User Information
[Component: Document Template]

Some users experienced errors when editing or accessing documents due to missing user information in the document version history. These errors have been resolved. Documents with incomplete user details will now load without issues, and additional safeguards have been added to help identify similar problems earlier.
