New Features

Strato Platform

Pre-Delivered Properties for Users

Standard user properties, such as Username, First & Last Name, Email Address, and other key fields, are now pre-delivered in People Hub. This eliminates the need to manually recreate common user information as custom properties, saving time and effort. These properties can also be used to define Target Populations in Policies and set conditions for Groups, improving efficiency in user management.

File Count Icon

The File Count icon now provides a clearer and more accurate representation of the number of files directly within each folder. This icon will only be displayed beside folders which have contents, while empty folders will no longer show a file count to prevent confusion.

Access Control with Search Permission

Users can now search for files in Storage 2.0 based on their assigned permissions, ensuring that search results only display files they are authorized to access. This update enhances security and accuracy by verifying Read permissions from Policies before returning results.

Access Control with Update Permission

The Update action in Storage 2.0 is now managed by assigned Policies, ensuring that only authorized users can modify files. Permissions are verified before displaying the Edit option. Users can update only files within permitted categories, and file recipients are validated against the Target Population of the logged-in user's Policies. Additionally, Read access is required to proceed with any update action, ensuring proper access control.

Access Control with Delete Permission

The Delete action in Storage 2.0 is now displayed only to users who have the necessary permissions based on assigned Policies. File deletion permissions are evaluated based on the category of the file, and the Target Population defined in Policies. This update enhances security by ensuring users cannot delete files they are not authorized to manage.

Access Control with Upload Permission

The Upload action in Storage 2.0 is now controlled by assigned Policies, ensuring that only authorized users can upload files. Permissions are verified before the Upload button is displayed or Drag & Drop uploads are enabled. Users can upload files only into permitted folders and must select from allowed categories based on their assigned permissions.

Access Control with Download Permission

The Download action in Storage 2.0 is now controlled by assigned Policies, ensuring that only authorized users can download files. Permissions are verified before displaying the Download button, allowing users to download only files within authorized categories. Additionally, file recipients are validated against the Target Population of the logged-in user's Policies, ensuring proper access control.

Strato Document Management

Edit Action for Files

Files saved in Storage 2.0 can now be edited through the File Information side panel. Users can update fields such as Name, Category, Description, Status (Validity Dates), Properties, Recipient, and Folder, providing a controlled editing process.

Other Updates and Corrections Delivered

Strato Document Management

Incorrect File Count Display in Folders for Employees
[Component: Item Count]

The item count icon for folders sometimes displayed incorrect numbers, showing files that employees were not authorized to view. This issue occurred because the count included files that the user did not have permission to access. The system has been updated to ensure that the item count now accurately reflects only the files the logged-in user is allowed to view.

Strato Document Generation

Issue with Submitting Form Templates with File Attachments
[Component: Forms - Upload File; Workflow - User Decision]

Submitting a form template in a workflow failed when an attachment was added to the Upload File field. This happened because the system couldn’t assign a file owner due to inactive user records that lacked necessary identifiers. To resolve this, the system now assigns the logged-in user as the file owner, ensuring successful submission.
