New Feature - Authorisation Framework Integration with Configurations

The Authorisation Framework Integration with Configurations provides a more robust control over how users interact with the tools across the system.

When enabled, this integration allows Policies from Authorisation Framework to replace the existing User Management authorisations for defining the level of access and control users have across the system.

Users can install this feature in the Upgrade Centre.

Installing this feature requires the following to be installed in the Upgrade Centre:


Functionality

With the current integration, you can configure Policies using the Authorisation Framework to control access to a comprehensive set of objects across Strato.

Specifically, the framework supports control over the following actions:

  • List: Grant or restrict access to view objects and their associated subcomponents. These objects include:
    • Cards: This controls the Cards available in the Strato Homepage.
      • Profile
      • All Files
      • People Hub
      • News & Announcements
      • Reporting
      • Workflow Monitoring
      • Task Hub
      • Configuration
      • Policy Debugger
    • People Hub: This controls the available options in People Hub and under People Settings in the Configurations page.
      • Groups
      • Properties
      • Policies
      • Compliance Tracker
      • Sync User Properties
    • Storage: This controls the available options under Document Management Settings in the Configurations page.
      • Folders
      • Categories
      • Rules
      • Properties
      • Locations
