Strato 2025-16

The 2025-16 release delivers key enhancements that improve control, usability, and consistency across Strato.

Administrators now have greater flexibility in Strato Reporting, with Policies managing access to report creation and editing, and a new Reporting card on the dashboard and Apps Menu for easier access.

In Strato Document Generation, users can rearrange columns in Strato V2 and see the same order reflected in CSV exports. Workflows also gain more adaptability with dynamic User Group Recipient mapping in the User Direction Step, reducing the need for duplicate workflows.

Finally, Strato introduces updated branding across V1 and V2, and unauthenticated users are now redirected directly to the login page for a simple, more consistent experience.

These updates enhance flexibility, improve usability, and provide a more streamlined experience across the Strato platform.

Enhancements

Strato Platform

Reporting Card Added to Homepage and Apps Menu Bar

Strato Reporting can now be accessed directly from the Strato V2 homepage and App Menu Bar through a new Reporting card. Visibility and access to this card are controlled by Policies, ensuring that only permitted users can open Strato Reporting from these access points.

Updated Branding in Strato

Strato now features updated branding across both V1 and V2, including a refreshed logo, browser tab icon, fonts, and color palette. This ensures a consistent look and feel across the platform.

Strato Document Generation

Column Rearrangement and Consistent Export in Strato V2

Users can now rearrange table columns in Strato V2 by dragging and dropping visible columns, with their preferences saved automatically. In addition, CSV exports now follow the same column order as displayed in the UI, ensuring consistency between the on-screen view and exported data.

New Feature - Dynamic Mapping of User Group Recipient in User Decision Step

The User Decision Step now allows the User Group Recipient to be mapped to not just a static and predefined User Group, but to a Container or Step Export Parameter or a Datasource Field as well. This improvement makes Strato Workflows more streamlined and dynamic which was previously only achievable through creating duplicate Workflows.

Redirecting Unauthenticated Users to the Login Page

Users who are not logged in to Strato will now be directed straight to the login page when accessing any Strato page. This simplifies the previous process, which redirected them first to an error page.

Other Updates and Corrections Delivered

Strato Platform

SMTP Authentication Issue with OAuth
[Component: Strato Platform]

An issue was fixed where SMTP configuration reverted from OAuth back to Basic Authentication when connecting to Microsoft 365. This happened because required session properties for OAuth were missing and the email provider was not being populated correctly. The system now fully supports SMTP OAuth ensuring successful authentication and email delivery.

Discrepancy in Report Output
[Component: Strato Reporting]

An issue was fixed where some employeesโ€™ compensation statements were missing from the Report Card output despite being generated in Strato. This occurred due to a timing conflict between data refresh tasks. The system now refreshes data earlier, ensuring the report includes all expected employees.

Strato Document Generation

New Feature - Retrieval of Pending Data for Higher Duties / Temporary Assignment
[Component: Workflow]

Fixed an issue where pending employee data for Higher Duty and Temporary Assignment actions in SuccessFactors was incomplete. Previously, some details were stored in a different variable within the SuccessFactors response structure. The system now retrieves all required information, ensuring that assignment details are accurate and up to date. This enhancement is toggleable through the Upgrade Center, giving administrators control over when to enable the improved behavior.
