New Feature - Authorisation Framework Integration with Storage

The Authorisation Framework Integration with Storage enhances how access to Strato Document Management components are managed and evaluated.

When enabled, this integration allows Policies from Authorisation Framework to replace the existing User Management authorisations for accessing files across the different components of Strato Document Management.

This feature is currently in Alpha. Features are still being actively developed and may be subject to change.

Users can install this feature in the Upgrade Centre.


Requirements

Installing this feature requires the following to be installed in the Upgrade Centre:


Functionality

With the current integration, you can configure Policies using the Authorisation Framework to control access to a comprehensive set of objects across Strato.

Specifically, the framework supports control over the following actions:

  • Read: View selected files or folders.
  • Download: Download selected files.
  • Upload: Upload new files.
  • Update: Modify existing files.
  • Delete: Remove files from Strato Document Management.
  • Review: Access and review files in the Trash.
