Strato 2025-07
The 2025-07 release introduces usability improvements across Strato, along with foundational updates for enhanced logging and storage capabilities.
People Hub now supports sorting across all entries in the table, making it easier to find individuals quickly.
Workflows have a new toggle to always show the download button in a User Decision step, allowing users to access documents in Preview mode even before completing the required action.
User Properties mapped to SuccessFactors fields can now be updated via API, providing more flexibility for managing external users.
Batch storing to Strato Document Management through the Storage Deck is now faster with an improved back-end processing.
Enhanced Logging has been improved with more detailed log entries, including a file’s unique identifier for file-related actions.

Strato Platform
Enhanced Sorting for People Hub
Sorting column in the People Hub now applies to all entries in the table, greatly improving navigation and making it easier to find information across the entire page.
Users can sort entries by clicking the Sort icon next to any available column header. The icon will update to indicate the current sort order. When sorting by Name or Created By columns, entries starting with non-English characters are placed after entries starting with English characters.

Additional Information in Generated Log Files for Enhanced Logging
When Enhanced Logging is installed, generated log files now include the file’s unique identifier for file-related actions in Strato Document Management such as downloading or viewing.

Update User Properties via API
Previously, changes to User Properties mapped to SuccessFactors fields were restricted. This has now been updated to allow changes via API, even if the User Properties are mapped. This change provides admins more flexibility to manage external users outside of SuccessFactors.

Strato Document Management
Faster Batch Storing in Storage Deck
Batch storing to Strato Document Management via the Storage Deck has been enhanced with faster back-end processing.
Note that this enhancement does not apply automatically to previous installations of Storage Deck. Users need to uninstall and reinstall Storage Deck via the Upgrade Center to apply the enhancement.

Strato Document Generation
Enable Download in Preview prior to User Action
With this enhancement, an Always Show Download Button toggle is available when setting up a User Decision step in a workflow. When toggled on, users can download a document in Preview mode, even before they have completed the action for the User Decision step.

Missing Pre-delivered Metadata During System Creation
[Component: System Initialization]
The creation process for new systems has been updated to automatically include the complete set of standard metadata entries. This resolves a prior issue where incomplete configurations could occur due to missing metadata.
All new systems will now have the expected metadata by default, and existing systems will be updated to ensure consistent metadata.
Incorrect Document Counting in Subfolder

An issue was resolved where Strato Document Management displayed incorrect document counts in subfolders. This was caused by access permissions not being properly applied to the subfolders. The issue was fixed by updating the code to ensure that when a folder’s access permissions change, those updates are correctly reflected in all its subfolders.
Strato Document Generation
Inactive Users Included When Setting RBP-linked Strato Group as Recipient for User Decision

In a User Decision step, when a Strato Group linked to a SuccessFactors Role-Based Permission (SF RBP) Group was set as the recipient, inactive users were included as well. This issue has been fixed by updating the query to ensure that only active users within the Strato Group are included.
Batch Document Generation Progress Exceeded 100%
[Component: Document Generation]
Previously, batch document generation via the Dashboard showed incorrect progress and took longer than expected. This issue occurred when filters with multiple values were used and the Select All toggle was enabled, causing the process to repeat unnecessarily. This issue has been fixed, and document generation now completes as expected.
